Employment opportunities of our graduates are usually concentrated in the areas of development, planning or service, but also in sales. Moreover, additional opportunities exist in the organization and management of complex technical systems. If you are more interested in leadership roles, then directly after graduation your wish may come true as you find yourself tested in the role of a project leader.
Independent of your own personal preferences, the demand from the business sector for qualified specialists will continue to grow. However, technical know-how alone may not be enough in today’s competitive job market; thus, so-called “soft skills” are playing a more important role in many companies. Based upon this fact, we place much value on self-organization and the ability to communicate and work in teams which is emphasized in project work. Solutions to complex problem sets are researched and worked out in teams.
Above and beyond this, the curriculum includes courses in economics and business administration and management. The skills learned in class are put into practical use during the internship. Many times the internship leads to our students’ first job after they graduate. After graduation you also have the option to go directly into the job market or to further your education, e.g. our Master of Science in Communication Engineering for IT.
