Today’s increased technological and ecological requirements, growing competition and mounting time pressure lead towards enormous complexity in the design and realisation of buildings and structures. Pure “professional” knowledge does not suffice any longer and economic, strategic and organisational know-how is demanded in order to meet the requirements of forward-looking civil engineers. For the efficient and successful realisation of major construction projects, professionals possessing a sound technical background and a practically focussed education are needed. These qualities are rounded off with a broad knowledge of state of the art management methods.
The master course continues the education gained in the bachelor study “Civil Engineering” and will prepare students optimally for a leadership position within the wide-ranging fields of the construction business. A successful graduation allows a fast career entry on the foundation of a highly practical training. The master program offers two specialisations: “Project Management” and “Design und Construction”.
